My love of dolls, art, and history began at an early age, inspired by my mother, Barbara Kingman, a talented artist and woodcarver. Over the years, my mother and I worked together on numerous artistic projects, sharing a passion for creating historical figures and bringing the past to life.
Today, I create one-of-a-kind historical figures for museums and other organizations, along with a whimsical collection of characters. I work in a variety of sizes, sculpting faces, hands, and feet from polymer clay, constructing bodies from metal and wire, and creating clothing specific to each figure.
I have a particular affection for antique dolls and the stories they tell. One of the things I enjoy most about the doll world is the opportunity to meet people who share that same enthusiasm, exchange ideas, and learn from one another.
